Ben currently works within corporate security and is contracted as UK Security Manager to a large global insurance organisation. His responsibilities include the strategic planning, development and implementation of physical security processes, policies and functions across a complex corporate environment.
His work also involves strategic risk and crisis management consultancy, including providing advice to senior executives on complex and evolving global issues. Ben regularly engages with national policing structures and Counter Terrorism Policing, giving him direct experience at the interface between corporate security, policing and the wider counter-terrorism environment.
Ben has experience presenting to large groups and senior executives and producing professional reports, assessments and strategic recommendations.
Prior to entering corporate security, Ben served for eight years as a police officer with Essex Police. During his policing career, he gained significant operational experience in protest activity and public order, including advising on protest and far-right movement risks.
His combined policing, corporate security and executive consultancy experience provides a broad understanding of security risk from both operational and strategic perspectives.
